Council President Stewart to Hold Media Availability on July 7 at Noon
MARYLAND, March 7 - For Immediate Release: Thursday, July 3, 2025
On Monday, July 7 at noon, Montgomery County Council President Kate Stewart will hold a media availability to discuss Council matters, including upcoming public hearings and a Council resolution in support of 14 early voting centers in Montgomery County for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary and General Election.
As part of National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, Council President Stewart will highlight several educational and outreach activities hosted by the County's minority health programs to promote mental health awareness in immigrant communities.
Additionally, Stewart will discuss the upcoming United in Service and Support community resource webinars in July and provide information on utility relief funds available to residents.
The Council president’s media availability will be held on Zoom and is for members of the news media. The public can view the media availability on the Council’s Facebook page (@MontgomeryCountyMdCouncil).
